Just for fun I composed a pattern of collage imagery in belt dimensions and printed it on cotton twill. I also needed to do something with this rad jumbo slide buckle I had. I love the result because it’s very versatile. It’s eye-catching enough to give a straightforward outfit that artistic edge, but not so noticeable that people are staring at your beltline. I find myself wearing it repeatedly so I think it’s time to move beyond the prototype phase into a real one on heavier canvas with finished edges but no sewing otherwise. Maybe a slightly smaller buckle.
