This is a large frame made of Bamboo from the Orange Twin Community Land in Athens, Georgia and free steel from Athens Steel who are very nice to artists and the community at large. I made four of these for Floorspace Dance Studio to use for their fall performance. The challenge was making them slideable, but that was easily solved with carpet squares under the steel plate feet. As it turned out, a local developer bought them for a new restaurant, so me and the dance studio made money and the frames got a new life for many more people to enjoy.
