About
Hi, I’m Anna and thanks for visiting my site! I’m an artist with a background in furniture design (BFA from SCAD 2000) but I’ve dedicated a lot of time to writing, music, wellness, and simply learning about the world and myself as a contributing member.
Right now I’m working towards achieving a Master’s of Science in Textiles at the Textiles College at NC State, preparing for a solo art exhibit at UNC Charlotte and also at the new Delurk co-op Gallery in Winston-Salem. I recently installed a community art project — a yarnbombing — with a large group of fellow knitters in the tiny village of Carrboro, NC where I live.
I’m most interested in opportunities to apply my extensive creative thinking abilities to socially-oriented projects involving fabric, clothing, or product design but I’ll gladly wear other hats for the right project. I do love to produce custom art pieces or furniture on commission, and thanks to an incredible tech shop where I live, the possibilities really are endless.
I can even be useful with identity and branding and love to help people work that visual puzzle to find exactly the right way to present themselves. Style and imagination are my strengths and my passion! I’m open to and capable of all kinds of ways of utilizing these, as long as the application supports the greater good in you and your audience, client or customer…
Get in touch and let’s do something amazing together!
